The P3 has the most wins in pro cycling and most successful frame in Ironman (wins and bike counts). It took home four out of a possible six medals in the time trial at the Beijing Olympics. It is by far the most used TT bike in the world. Every aspect of the P3 is geared towards providing technical benefits and an improved rider experience from the aerodynamic details to the bottom bracket stiffness for efficient power transfer. Cervelo developed the geometry and fit of the P3 to support the rider's bones without unnecessarily engaging muscles allowing the rider to be fast and comfortable in an aero position for a long time. The curved, cut-out seat tube covers the entire section of the rear wheel for lower resistance and higher speed for the same watts generated. An aero and narrow headtube creates a smaller frontal area for reduced resistance and more speed. The P3 has more aero seat stays and a curved seat tube vs. the P2.
